Both Jerusalem and Bethlehem are inhabited today and both have become larger since the time of Jesus. Bethlehem is consequently much closer now to Jerusalem than it was at that time. Its position relative to Jerusalem nevertheless remains much the same as shown on the map below. North is towards the top. Scale is unknown.
